This rug was dirty and had dye movement from dog urine prior to washing. When we finished, the rug cleaned up but you can see there was additional dye movement. Where the dog urine was, the dye cleaned up a bit.

This rug was used in the kitchen. When it came in, you can see where spills moved the dyes when the rug got wet. On the whole the dye movement is not so visible.

A severe example of dye movement. Although this happened before the rug was cleaned, this can also happen when the rug is washed. We use dye stripper to clean up the white/ivory areas. Sometimes the results are great and sometimes it does not change the appearance that much.
